Grab a slice or an entire pizza at Evel Pie in Downtown Las Vegas. This local pizzeria is a tribute to the one and only Evel Knievel.
In 1967 Knievel attempted to jump over the fountains of Caesars Palace on his motorcycle but came up short and broke several bones. Even though he didn’t clear the landing, this stunt is what jump-started his famous career. So it’s only fitting that Vegas is home to Evel Knievel’s Pizzeria.
Inside the restaurant is like a time capsule of the 1970s with tons of old-school memorabilia, like a pinball machine and photos lining the walls.
Settle in, have a beer, and order freshly made pizza by the slice or share an entire pie. Enjoy classics like Cheezy Rider and Pepperoni. Feeling daring? Try a specialty pizza like The Barry White Pie, Hog Heaven, Goblin Sausage, Maui Wowie, or Evel Knievel’s Super Kick Ass Combo. You can even create your own from the list of specialty toppings.
Make sure to order some sides. The wings, Garlic Deez Knots, and Grandma’s Balls go great with any pizza. Save room for Led Zeppole for dessert. These are fried dough balls covered in powdered sugar and dipped in honey. Yummy!
Check out Evel Pie, open daily; Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 2am, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 4:20am.
